The Quality Assurance Policy of the Medical School fully aligns with the Quality Policy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, making the Medical School absolutely dedicated and committed to providing high-quality education in both Greek and foreign languages. It organizes and implements undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs of high academic standards and significant added value, in the most important areas and fields of the Medical School’s scientific discipline. Additionally, the Medical School seeks the development of a creative environment for research, free scientific expression, and work for all its staff and members of the academic community.

The Medical School is committed to implementing the aforementioned quality policy, both in general and in the MSc program ‘Management of
Refractive Errors and Refractive Surgery,’ which it currently offers and will continue to offer in the future. It follows the quality processes
outlined by “ΕΣΔΠ”, with the ultimate goal of continuous improvement. Through this Quality Policy, the academic profile and orientation of the specific postgraduate program are strengthened. The purpose and scope of the program, along with the achievement of specific annual goals, are promoted, while the means and methods to achieve these objectives are defined. The participation of stakeholders in the evaluation and redesign processes is ensured.
